TL;DR: Sightful collects zero data. Everything stays on your device. We can't see what you do, and we don't want to.

Our Privacy Philosophy

Sightful is built on a simple principle: your privacy is non-negotiable. We created Sightful to help you blink more and protect your eyes—not to collect your data, track your behavior, or monetize your information.

What Data We Collect

None. Zero. Nada.

Sightful does not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data. We don't know:

  • •What websites you visit
  • •How often you use the extension
  • •Your browsing history
  • •Your email address (unless you contact us for support)
  • •Your location
  • •Any personally identifiable information

What Data Stays on Your Device

Sightful stores the following settings locally on your device only using Chrome's local storage:

  • •Your reminder interval preference (e.g., every 15 seconds)
  • •Your selected visual cue (Horizon Light, Wave, Orb, etc.)
  • •Your sound preference (Silent, Chime, or Nature)
  • •Your PRO license key (if you purchased PRO features)
  • •Your Aura Pack selection (if you have PRO)

This data never leaves your computer. We cannot access it. It is not transmitted to any server.

Third-Party Services

We use Lemon Squeezy to process PRO license purchases. When you purchase Sightful PRO:

  • •Lemon Squeezy collects your payment information (we never see your credit card details)
  • •Lemon Squeezy sends you a license key via email
  • •We receive only your email address and order ID for support purposes

Browser Permissions

Sightful requests the following Chrome permissions:

  • •activeTab: To display visual cues on the current webpage
  • •storage: To save your settings locally on your device

These permissions are used exclusively for the extension's functionality. We do not use them to track, monitor, or collect data.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change our privacy practices (spoiler: we won't), we'll update this page and notify users via the extension. Your continued use of Sightful after any changes means you accept the updated policy.
